Huy Phan, Ph.D., is a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Lam Research since August 2021, specializing in automated software testing for physics-based simulation software. Previously, from August 2015 to June 2021, Huy served as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, contributing to the AMS-02 experiment aboard the International Space Station. Huy's early experience includes tutoring Mathematics and Physics at McDaniel College, completing a summer internship at Fermilab focused on muon accelerator R&D, and serving as a Research Assistant at McDaniel College, where Huy analyzed infrared-stimulated luminescence data and developed computational models. Huy holds a Ph.D. in Elementary Particle Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics/Mathematics from McDaniel College.
