Jane Newens

Jane Newens has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Jane began their career as a Sales & Marketing Director at e1 Business Ltd, where they achieved significant sales revenue growth and led diversification into higher value markets. Jane then worked as a Business Growth Consultant at The Integrators Australia, where they set up a new sales territory and achieved impressive pipeline and sales revenue growth.

Jane went on to work as a CRM Software Consultant at AXA Investment Managers, Pfizer AH, and Ovum, where they provided consultancy services to key clients, designing CRM contact processes and supporting systems to optimize client self-serve, forecasting accuracy, closed sales, cross-selling, and customer relationship management.

Jane then joined The Open University as a Head of Onboarding Experience - Digital, CRM, and CX. In this role, they led a department-wide digital transformation program, achieved significant conversion rate increases through A/B testing, designed and embedded a prioritization and governance framework, and led the redesign of a multimillion £ CRM campaign.

Jane currently holds a position as the Head of Investment Portfolio at Coventry Building Society. Jane has also held various roles at the company, including Head of Digital Transformation, Head of Customer Change, Head of Customer Experience, Business Lead - Mobile App, and Programme Lead - SCA PSD2.

Throughout their career, Jane has demonstrated expertise in digital transformation, customer experience, CRM, and sales and marketing, consistently delivering impressive results and driving growth.

Jane Newens has a diverse education history. In 2014, they obtained a certification as a Certified Agile Product Owner from Scrum Alliance, focusing on the Agile methodology. In 2013, they completed a degree in NLP Business Practitioner from NLP Viewole, specializing in NLP. In the same year, they also received a certificate in Change Management from APM. From 2009 to 2011, they pursued an Advanced Data Analysis and Direct Marketing degree from IDM. Prior to that, they earned a CIM Diploma in Marketing from CIM between 2001 and 2003. Their education journey began with a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing & Business from Southampton Solent University, which they completed from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, Jane holds certifications in Agile Product Owner from Scrum Alliance, Change Management from APMG-International, and NLP Practitioner from VIEVOLVE LIMITED.
