Kulwinder Johal Cippm

Kulwinder Johal, CISM CIPP/E CIPM, currently serves as the Head of Technology Risk Management Controls and Governance at Coventry Building Society since January 2024. Additionally, Kulwinder is a member of the National Security Committee and an SME elected director on the Tech UK Board, with terms starting in July 2022. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Information Security at ElectraLink Ltd. from August 2021 to December 2023 and holding various key positions at Severn Trent, including Group Data Protection Officer and Transformation Business Leader from April 2017 to August 2021. Kulwinder has also contributed as an IAPP Training Advisory Board member from January 2020 to January 2022 and has extensive experience at Severn Trent Water from 2006 to September 2015. Kulwinder holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Chemistry from the University of Wolverhampton.
