Mark O'Connell

Mark O'Connell currently serves as the Head of Public Realm at Coventry City Council since June 2023. Prior to this role, Mark held various positions at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council from September 2017 to June 2023, including Head of Highway Infrastructure and Group Manager for Highway Projects. Mark's extensive experience in public works began at Warwickshire County Council, where roles included Principal Engineer, Senior Engineer, Street Works Supervisor, and Engineer from November 2008 to September 2017. Mark completed a Bachelor of Science 2:1 (Hons) in Design Technology at Coventry University and further advanced skills through an HNC in Civil Engineering and a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management from Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce.
