Andy Elleray

Andy Elleray serves as the Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach at Coventry City Football Club since May 2023. With extensive experience in coaching, Andy Elleray has held various prominent positions, including Lead Academy Goalkeeping Coach at Bristol Rovers Football Club from March 2020 to May 2023 and Goalkeeping Coach for the Football Association of Wales from August 2021 to August 2022. Andy Elleray's prior roles include Head of Youth Goalkeeping (Women’s) at Birmingham City FC, where responsibility included the development of youth goalkeepers who progressed to top clubs, and coaching roles at The Football Association, Chelsea Football Club, and Liverpool Football Club, among others. An academic background includes a Master's in Sports Coaching and a BSc (Hons) in Sports Coaching Science from the University of Worcester. In addition to coaching, Andy Elleray has a presence as a writer since September 2012.
