Andrew Cooney is a seasoned marketing and sales enablement professional with extensive experience in higher education institutions. Currently serving as the Director of Product and Sales Enablement and Student Acquisition Marketing Strategist at Coventry University since September 2016, Andrew focuses on developing student recruitment and retention strategies, collaborating directly with stakeholders to ensure data-driven planning and analysis. Previously, Andrew has held key positions such as Group Deputy Director of Marketing and External Affairs, overseeing marketing activities both nationally and internationally, and Deputy Director of Strategic Marketing and Operations. Before Coventry University, Andrew was Head of Brand at De Montfort University and had a long tenure at Loughborough University where roles included Change Projects Consultant and Head of Marketing. Andrew holds a BA (Hons) in Marketing (Engineering) from The University of Huddersfield.
