John Latham

John Latham serves as the Director of University Alliance (UK) since December 2015, supporting the growth of UK cities and regions through a collective of leading applied universities. Latham is an Advisory Board Member for the National Growth Board, Innovate UK, and Universities UK, contributing to important national policies and innovation strategies. As an Extraordinary Professor at Stellenbosch University, Latham specializes in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. Holding the position of Vice-Chancellor and CEO at Coventry University since June 1996, Latham oversees the institution along with its associated organizations. Latham's extensive experience also includes roles with Serious Games International Ltd as Director and participation in various advisory boards and committees, highlighting a strong focus on economic development, research, and applied innovation. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a BSc in Computer Science from Coventry University.
