Mark Evans - Professor of Theatre Training

Mark Evans is a Professor of Theatre Training at Coventry University, where since September 1995, research has focused on actor training, movement training for actors, and enterprise education within the UK theatre sector. Evans has served in various leadership roles, including Associate Dean for Student Experience and Quality & Accreditation, Acting Dean of Coventry School of Art and Design, and Head of Performing Arts, overseeing program development, quality assurance, and employability initiatives. Prior experience includes senior lecturer roles at Coventry Centre for the Performing Arts and Arts Educational School, Tring Park, teaching theatre and directing student productions. Educational qualifications include a PhD from Coventry University and participation in leadership programs at the University of Oxford and the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship.
