Justin Sebire has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Justin started as an Analyst at AXA Australia in 1997 before joining AXA as an Assistant Advisor, specializing in SEC and US GAAP Reporting. Justin then moved to Aviva as a Manager in the Group External Reporting team, where they played a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing external reporting standards. Following this, they joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Director in the Global Capital Markets Group, providing technical accounting advice and financial transaction advisory services.

Sebire then transitioned to the insurance industry, starting at Suncorp Group as the Executive Manager of GI Financial Control & Capital. This role involved managing consolidated general insurance businesses and leading a team responsible for strategic capital management. Justin also held executive roles such as Acting CFO of Personal Insurance and CFO of ACM Parts, a joint venture between Suncorp Group and LKQ Corporation Inc.

Sebire's career continued to progress as they became the Finance Director of Bupa Health Insurance before joining Catholic Church Insurance as their Chief Financial Officer. Justin then became a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Phoenix Health Fund. Justin is currently the Group Chief Financial Officer at Cover-More Group.

Throughout their work experience, Sebire has developed a strong background in finance, financial control, strategic planning, and project management. Justin has extensive expertise in various areas, including insurance, healthcare, and financial services.

Justin Sebire completed their education with a focus on accounting and business management. Justin first attended Monash University from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree in Accounting and Business Management. Following this, they pursued further education in the field of accounting at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 1999 to 2000, earning a CA (Chartered Accountant) certification. In 2017, Justin attended INSEAD and completed a program on driving value through business acumen with a focus on strategy and business performance. Justin obtained a certification in the same subject that year. Lastly, in November 2019, Justin obtained the title of Chartered Accountant Fellow (FCA) from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
