Mike Sekits

Mike Sekits has had a diverse range of work experience. Mike has worked as a Board Observer for GoodwillFinds.com, where they contributed to job creation and waste diversion efforts. Mike was also a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Btech Consortium, a partnership that provided strategic capital for technology companies serving community banks. Mike also held the position of Co-Founder and Managing Director at Strandview Capital, a private investment firm focused on financial services and technology. Mike served as an Investor and Board Director for Coverance Insurance Solutions, Inc., and InSellerate, both of which were involved in the insurance and mortgage technology industries, respectively. Additionally, Mike was an Investor, Board Advisor, and Observer for The Closing Exchange, a signing services company, and a Member of the Board of Directors for LRES Corporation, a real estate services company. Mike also served as an Investor and Board Observer for Raiven, a group purchasing organization for the commercial building industry. Prior to these roles, Mike was a Board Member for Goodwill Industries International, where they contributed to the organization's efforts in job training and job creation. Lastly, they served as a Board Advisor for UNest, a mobile app that helps parents save for their children's education through tax-advantaged college savings plans.

Mike Sekits attended Bainbridge Island High School from 1980 to 1984. Mike then pursued their undergraduate education at Claremont McKenna College, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Accounting from 1984 to 1988. In 1987, they participated in a Study Abroad program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), specifically Beaver College, focusing on Economics and Political Science.
