Marcia Weldon

Marcia Weldon has worked in a variety of roles since 1985. Marcia started their career as a Medical Technologist at Akron City Hospital before moving to Monsanto Company as a Researcher in 1987. In 2016, they became a Breeding Research Associate at Kaiima Bio-Agritech, Inc. and then moved to Benson Hill in 2018 as a Breeding Operations Lead and Senior Research Associate. Most recently, they joined CoverCress Inc. in 2022 as Regulatory & Stewardship Manager and Field Operations.

Marcia Weldon attended The University of Akron from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies.
