Dean Scourtes has over 25 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Dean most recently served as Deputy Director for Financial Forecasting and Planning at Covered California. Prior to this, they worked at the California Department of Health Care Services in various roles, including Research Data Supervisor II and Research Manager. Dean also has experience as a Senior Analytic Consultant at Thomson Reuters Health Care (now Truven health Analytics) and as a Senior Quality Analyst at Rush-Prudential HMO. Dean Scourtes has a BA degree in Political Science and History from Loyola University Chicago. Dean then pursued an MBA degree in Finance from the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago, completing it from 1997 to 2001.
