Kelly Long

Kelly Long has had a diverse work experience in the public sector. Kelly worked as the Deputy Director of the Business Services Branch at Covered California from 2012 onwards. During their time there, they played a key role in developing and implementing new programs, policies, and procedures. Kelly also drafted various manuals, handbooks, and training materials.

Before that, Kelly worked at California State Parks from 2001 to 2012. In their role as Associate State Archaeologist, they conducted Native American consultations and archaeological field surveys and excavations across the state. Kelly successfully designed and implemented cultural resource management programs, ensuring timely completion of projects.

Kelly Long attended California State University-Sacramento to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology. Kelly completed their education at the university in 2001.
