Monica Padilla is a seasoned media strategist with extensive experience in the advertising and communications sector. Currently serving as a Senior Media Strategist at Covered California since June 2020, Monica previously held the position of Head of Media at the California State Lottery from December 2015 to June 2020. In this role, Monica was responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating all paid media efforts, developing campaigns that aligned with business goals and marketing objectives. Earlier, Monica functioned as a Brand Manager and Digital & Social Lead at the California State Lottery, overseeing strategies across multiple platforms and diverse markets. Prior experience includes work as a Lobbyist and Legislative Analyst at Capitol Strategic Advisors, LLC from September 2012 to December 2015. Monica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from California State University-Sacramento, earned in 2013.
