Luís Nunes

Luís Nunes has a solid work experience in software engineering. Luís is currently working at Coverflex as a Senior Backend Software Engineer since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at OLX Group as a Backend Software Engineer starting from January 2021. Before that, they were employed at Uniplaces for several years. At Uniplaces, they started as a Junior Software Developer in October 2018 and then progressed to become an Intermediate Software Developer from April 2020 to January 2021. In this role, they were responsible for software integrations, REST API development, CI/CD pipeline management, and full-stack development using technologies like PHP (Symfony), Node.js, Golang, Ember.js, and React. Additionally, Luís Nunes gained experience through a summer internship at Multicert in 2016, where they developed an Android application for OCR and assisted in creating a commercial Android demo for digital signature using Android Studio, Java, JSON, Websockets, and SQLite Database.

From 2010 to 2013, they attended Escola Secundária da Cidadela where they earned their High School Diploma in the field of Science and Technology.

Next, from 2013 to 2016, they enrolled at Instituto Superior Técnico and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering as part of the Bologna program.

Subsequently, between 2016 and 2018, Luís pursued a Master's degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering at the same institution, Instituto Superior Técnico, as part of the Bologna program.

Luís Nunes also holds an additional certification. In March 2022, they achieved the "AWS Certified Developer – Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
