Vivek Dubey

Vivek Dubey has extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field, primarily in the insurance industry. Vivek currently serves as the Sr. Vice President of Legal & Compliance at Coverfox Insurance, where they are a part of the leadership team and responsible for designing a business structure for insurtech operations. Prior to this role, Vivek held the position of Legal Counsel APAC at Cover Genius, where they designed a legal contractual structure for APAC insurtech operations. Before that, they served as the Head of Legal, Risk & Compliance -India at Assurant, overseeing legal, risk, and compliance work for the company's Indian operations. Vivek has also worked at Reliance General Insurance as an Associate Segment Head-Legal & Compliance, HDFC ERGO General Insurance as a Manager-Legal & Compliance, Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance as a Manager-Legal & Compliance, and Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited as a Senior Executive-Legal. Additionally, they have gained experience through internships at Bharti Airtel Limited and Zeus Law Associates. Vivek's work experience spans over 15 years, during which they have developed strong expertise in insurance compliance, contract management, regulatory matters, and litigation management.

Vivek Dubey obtained a B.A. LL.B. (Hons) degree from National Law University, Jodhpur, specializing in Insurance, Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law, from 2002 to 2007. In 2008, they obtained the FLMI Level 1 insurance certification from the Life Office Management Association, USA. Additionally, Vivek has obtained several other certifications and participated in various legal aid camps and conferences throughout the years.
