Keegan Doung

Keegan Doung has a diverse work experience in various industries. Keegan started their career as a Teacher's Aide at Growth and Learning Opportunities from August 2004 to May 2009. Keegan then became a Student Teacher at Jefferson Union High School District from January 2013 to May 2013, followed by working as a Substitute Teacher at Sequoia Union High School District from October 2013 to May 2014.

In 2014, Keegan transitioned to the IT field, working as a Software Engineer Trainee at Tekmeca from April 2014 to August 2014. Keegan then took on the role of a Front-end Web Developer at First Chinese Baptist Church in San Francisco from August 2014 to December 2014, where they worked on website redesign projects.

Keegan also worked as an IT Generalist contractor at Jasper Wireless from November 2014 to January 2015, troubleshooting IT equipment issues and providing support during office relocation.

From June 2015 to January 2018, Keegan worked at UnitedLayer as a Data Center Technician and Administrator, responsible for managing secure data centers in multiple locations and providing first responder support to customers. Keegan then advanced to the role of a Data Center Systems Administrator, where they played an integral role in supporting and maintaining the company's global data center infrastructure.

In 2018, Keegan joined Lattice Engines as a Systems Engineer, contributing to the company's engineering and operations team until June 2019.

Most recently, Keegan is employed at CoverHound as a DevOps Engineer starting in July 2019, responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the company's development and operational processes.

Throughout their work experience, Keegan has gained expertise in various areas such as systems administration, virtualization, storage solutions, cloud services, network administration, and automation.

Keegan Doung pursued their education chronologically. Between 2009 and 2011, they attended San Francisco State University, where they concentrated in Education within the Mathematics program. In 2014, they enrolled in the Cloud Computing Academy and obtained a Certificate in Computer Programming. Keegan also holds additional certifications, including "Git Real" from Code School, obtained in October 2014, and an "AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate" from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in January 2020.
