Chris Hembrow

Chris Hembrow is a Principal Software Engineer at CovertSwarm since January 2022, overseeing the architecture and delivery of the CovertSwarm Portal and related systems utilizing Python, NodeJS, Angular, and AWS. Previously, Chris held positions including Cyber Security Engineer at MDSec and Senior Security Consultant at SureCloud, managing penetration testing efforts and mentoring teams. Chris has extensive experience in cybersecurity, having served as Enterprise Information Security Officer at Assurant Solutions, where responsibilities included implementing ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS compliance measures. Early career roles involved technical design and development in mobile and web applications, with foundational experience in software engineering and content management systems. Chris holds a degree in Electronic Graphics, Web Development, and Design from the University of Staffordshire.
