James Campbell has a diverse work experience, starting as an Account Manager at Amplicon Financial in 1997. James then joined Genuity as a Product Manager in 1998. Following that, James worked at LoJack Corporation, where they held positions such as Channel Manager, Sr. Channel Manager, Manager of Market Planning, Sr. Sales Planning Manager, and Director of Sales Planning. James'sresponsibilities at LoJack included sales reporting, analytics, development of sales and marketing programs, and strategy implementation. In 2011, James joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts as the Director of Business Planning & Integration, where they focused on strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Business Development Operations at Coverys.

James Campbell obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College, which they attended from 1993 to 1997. James then pursued further education at the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 2000 to 2002, where they earned an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and Marketing.
