Annabelle Bertin

Annabelle Bertin possesses extensive experience in the fields of polymer science and materials research, holding various prestigious positions in both academic and industry settings. At Covestro, Annabelle served as Lab and Miniplant Manager at PCS Chemical Development and Lab Manager of Melt Polycarbonate at the Technology Center PCS from October 2018 to September 2021. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung involved project management in polymer science from January 2011 to September 2018. Annabelle also contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor in organic polymer chemistry at Freie Universität Berlin (September 2012 - August 2018), supervising multiple theses and guiding students. A postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania focused on biocompatible materials, complementing earlier research at the Max Planck Institute on bioinspired composites. Annabelle holds a Research Doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Strasbourg and a DEA in Chemistry and Physical Chemistry of Polymers from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
