CA Prateek Khator is an experienced professional in the field of indirect taxation, currently serving as the Head of Indirect Taxes at Covestro since February 2019, where responsibilities include managing GST and IDT functions. Prior to this role, Prateek held the position of Manager - Indirect Taxation at Rallis India Ltd from March 2015 to December 2018, overseeing excise, service tax, and VAT compliance and liaising with government authorities. Earlier experience includes a managerial role in indirect taxation at Reliance for three years and serving as an Audit Manager at Bhatra Pramod & Associates, where Prateek handled various tax and statutory compliance matters. Prateek holds a Chartered Accountant credential from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Company Secretary qualification from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, along with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Rajasthan.
