Ciro Piermatteo possesses over 30 years of extensive experience in the fields of colorants, pigments, and coloration technologies, currently serving as the Global Marketing Manager for Automotive Interior at Covestro since March 2019. In this role, Ciro oversees the marketing of innovative materials for automotive interiors and is a recognized expert in color, material, and design. Previous positions include Global Market Development Manager at Covestro and Global Key Account Manager at Bayer Material Science, where Ciro managed global accounts in the automotive and electronics segments. Ciro's career began at Bayer Italy, progressing through various roles that involved significant business development and sales management in color technologies and pigments across Europe and the APAC region. Ciro holds a degree in Marketing and Strategic Development from SDA Bocconi and an Abitur in Polymer-Chemie from Istituto Tecnico Industriale.
