Eric Rouhof

Director Safety, Health And Environment at Covestro

Eric Rouhof has extensive work experience in the field of safety, health, environment, and security. Eric started their career as a researcher/program manager at DSM Research in 1987 and later worked as a technology manager at DSM Specialty Products. Eric then served as a plant manager at DSM Solutech from 2000 to 2005.

In 2005, Eric joined DSM Dyneema, where they held various roles including senior HSE manager, global HSE & security manager, director quality, safety, health, environment & security, and director purchasing and supply chain. During this time, they were responsible for implementing safety measures, managing quality control, and overseeing the supply chain.

In 2007, Eric established their own consultancy firm called Rouhof Consulting Group, where they served as a safety consultant. Eric'sconsultancy focused on safety in leadership, safety culture, incident investigation, and the effectiveness of safety management systems.

In 2011, Eric joined Delft TopTech as a member of the advisory board for the MoSHE (Management of Safety, Health, and Environment) program at Technical University Delft. Eric held this position until 2015.

From 2007 to 2015, Eric also served as an external member of the Quality and Safety Committee at a major Dutch hospital.

In 2016, Eric joined DSM Resins and Functional Materials as the director of safety, health, environment & security. In this role, they had global responsibility for safety, health, environment, and security across more than 20 sites in Europe, America, and Apac.

Currently, Eric works as the director of safety, health, and environment at Covestro, where they continue to utilize their expertise in ensuring safety and environmental compliance within the organization.

Eric Rouhof earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente, where they attended from 1981 to 1987. Afterwards, they pursued a Master's degree in Management of Safety, Health & Environment at Delft University of Technology, completing their studies from 2006 to 2008. Later on, they enrolled at TIAS School for Business and Society in 2015, studying Supply Chain Management for a year. Prior to their college education, they attended Veluws College, although the specific dates and details about their degree and field of study are unknown.
