Julia Xiang

Julia Xiang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate communications, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and leadership roles across multiple organizations. At Covestro since May 2015, Julia leads diversity and inclusion efforts in the APAC region and oversees global communications strategies. Julia's leadership extends to the World Organization for Sustainability Leadership as the First Rotating Chairwoman of the S10 Plan of Action, focusing on promoting sustainability goals. Additionally, Julia serves as Vice Chairperson for both the Shanghai Famous Foreign Enterprises Federation of Trade Unions and the Shanghai Lujiazui Finance & Trade Zone Trade Union, emphasizing female employee development. Prior experience includes supporting executive leadership at Bayer and serving as Chairperson of Bayer (China) Ltd. Trade Union. Julia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Renmin University of China.
