Karsten Knebel

Karsten Knebel is an accomplished professional in the chemical production industry with extensive experience in leadership and process optimization. Currently serving as the Head of Production at Covestro since October 2022, Karsten previously held several key positions at ARLANXEO from October 2016 to September 2022, including Head of Production CR, Head of Process Optimization CR, and Plant Process Engineer. Prior to ARLANXEO, Karsten worked at LANXESS from May 2012 to September 2016 as a Scientist/Projectleader for the EPDM Pilot Plant and as a Scientist in Catalysis and Explorative Research. Karsten Knebel earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Bonn between 2002 and 2011 and furthered education at Leibniz Universität Hannover from 2012 to 2013.
