Markus Dugal

Markus Dugal serves as the SVP Head of Process Technology at Covestro, with a career at the company dating back to January 2013, including roles such as SVP Head Technology Isocyanates & Basic Chemicals and Vice President - Head of Operations Leverkusen. Prior to Covestro, Dugal held various leadership positions at Bayer from June 2000 to December 2012, spanning senior project management to regional product management for MDI and TDI in the Americas. Dugal began a career in research as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The Royal Institution from May 1999 to May 2000. Educational qualifications include a Dr. rer. nat. in Chemistry from the Max-Planck Institute für Kohlenforschung and a Diploma in Chemistry from the University of Duisburg-Essen, supplemented by a senior thesis in Chemistry at McMaster University.
