Rainer Protte is an experienced professional in the field of injection molding and processing methods, currently serving as the Head of Processing Methods & Injection Molding at Covestro since September 2015. Prior to this role, Rainer held various positions at Bayer from May 2005 to August 2015, including Head of Advanced Injection Molding and Head of Advanced Processing and Technical Lab. Rainer also worked at Hella as Head of Tool Shop and Sales from February 2004 to April 2005, and at Bayer again from April 1999 to January 2004 as Project Leader in Injection Molding Technologies. Additionally, Rainer commenced a career at cp-polymer-technik from September 1993 to March 1999 in Application Technology and Sales focused on injection molding. Rainer completed a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Plastics and Process Engineering at Paderborn University between 1988 and 1993.
