Rene Buchmesser

Rene Buchmesser is a seasoned process automation expert with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as a Global MES Specialist at Covestro since April 2017, Rene has held significant roles, including Process Control Engineer at DSM and Senior Lead Process Automation Engineer at Archer Daniels Midland Company. Previous positions include Lead Engineer for Process Automation at TAQA, where responsibility was held for the complete process automation of the Gas Storage Bergermeer project, along with roles at Gain Engineers & Consultants and Imtech Automation Solutions, where expertise in automation projects was demonstrated. Rene began a career in process automation as a Software Engineer at Siemens and as an MES engineer at Compex, following a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Electronics Technology from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
