Sohajl Movahhed

Sohajl Movahhed is an experienced professional in project management and chemical research, currently serving as a Platform Coordinator and Project Manager for Catalysis & Technology Incubation at Covestro since August 2019. Prior to this, Sohajl held the position of Laboratory Manager at BASF from December 2016 to July 2019, focusing on project leadership, staff management, and the chemical research of organic aerogels and advanced insulation materials. From August 2012 to October 2016, Sohajl worked as a postdoctoral researcher and scientific staff member at the University of Cologne, leading interdisciplinary projects in drug research and developing methods for metal-catalyzed transformations. Sohajl began a career in the chemical field with an internship at the Foundation Laboratory in 2006 and holds a Dr. rer. nat. and Diplom-Chemiker degrees in Chemistry from the University of Cologne.
