Thomas Schwindack is an accomplished manager with extensive experience in process control technology and project management within the chemical industry. Currently, as the Head of Discipline Process Control Technology at Covestro in Baytown, Texas, Thomas oversees a team of I&E / PCT engineers and is responsible for resource and expertise management for capital projects in the US. Previously, Thomas held various managerial roles at Bayer from September 1990 to August 2015, including Head of Process Control Technology and Manager of the Process Analyzer Technology Group, where responsibilities encompassed directing projects, managing teams, and overseeing process analyzer systems across the Americas. Thomas holds a Doctorate in Physical Chemistry from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, earned between 1980 and 1990.
