Sandeep Ahuja is a building performance consultant with experience in the design and construction decision making process. Sandeep began their career in 2009 as a Design Intern at Space Matrix Design Consultants and subsequently worked as a Designer at Integral Designs and Studio 4D. In 2012, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology and a Researcher at Perkins+Will. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Co-Founder of Pattern R+D, where they ran full building simulations to influence the design and deliver value. In 2015, they took on the role of Visiting Faculty at Kennesaw State University, leading the 5th Year focus studio on building performance. In 2017, they became the CEO of cove.tool, where they are focused on the integration of performance analysis and data into the design and construction decision making process.
Sandeep Ahuja has an extensive education history. Sandeep completed a Masters of Science in High Performance Buildings from the Georgia Institute of Technology in the field of Architecture. Sandeep also holds a Bachelors of Architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi. Additionally, they hold an International Baccalaureate from the International School of Tanganyika. Sandeep also has several certifications, including a WELL AP from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) obtained in July 2016, a Living Building Challenge Ambassador from the International Living Future Institute obtained in June 2016, a LEED AP BD+C from the U.S. Green Building Council obtained in July 2014, an Architecture License from the Council of Architecture - India, and a Certified Diver from PADI.
