Diana Leister

Diana Leister is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in leading legal departments and providing strategic legal counsel across multiple regions. Currently serving as VP Legal International & Deputy General Counsel at Covetrus since November 2019, Diana oversees the Legal Department for over 20 markets outside the US, including Europe, APAC, and Latin America, in a global animal-health technology and services company. Prior to Covetrus, Diana held positions such as VP, Lead Counsel for Europe at Amway Europe, where key responsibilities included legal support for multiple countries and expertise in e-commerce and intellectual property law. Diana's earlier roles include Legal Counsel at Gehrlicher Solar, focusing on renewable energy projects, and at Praktiker, where Diana specialized in real estate law for large retail developments. Diana holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Durham University and completed law qualifications at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and Universität des Saarlandes.
