Jay Johnson

Jay Johnson has over 20 years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing. Jay is currently the Vice President, Procurement at Covia, where they lead a team responsible for procuring materials, equipment, supplies, and services in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Prior to Covia, Jay held leadership roles at XPO Logistics, Inc., FuelCell Energy, Triumph Group, United Technologies, Goodrich ISR Systems, Fitcorp Managed Fitness Centers, PTC, and Sappi. Throughout their career, Jay has developed and executed sourcing strategies, managed cross-divisional supply chain goals, and implemented cost-saving initiatives. Jay has extensive experience in negotiating agreements with suppliers and developing new sources of supply. Jay is known for their expertise in driving improvements in the supply chain and sourcing process, as well as their ability to meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

Jay Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Integrated Supply Chain and Operations Management from the University of Phoenix. Jay also has a Graduate Certificate in Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from The George Washington University School of Business. Furthermore, they possess an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix.
