Lan Deng

Lan Deng has extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Lan currently holds the position of Vice President of Technology at Covia since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Director at The ChemQuest Group, Inc. from April 2022 to July 2022. Before that, they had a long tenure at PPG Industries, where they held various roles including Global Technical Director, Global Technical Platform Director, Manager of Science & Technology Strategy, Manager of Product Development, and Group Leader-Research Associate I. Lan'stenure at PPG Industries lasted from March 2014 to March 2022. Lan Deng also has experience working at Valspar as a Group Leader from February 2011 to October 2014 and at The Dow Chemical Company as a Lead Chemist and Senior Chemist from June 2007 to November 2010.

Lan Deng obtained a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China, from 1997 to 2002.
