Allan Pope has extensive experience in software engineering and web development. Allan started their career at RARE Design as a Web Developer, where they gained experience in turning designs into custom websites. Allan then joined BTP as a Web Developer, where they were responsible for creating fully functional websites and providing training to clients. At August, they worked as a Frontend Developer, collaborating with a team to build engaging interfaces for various projects. Allan then joined Qantas as a Software Engineer, working on applications such as Hotels, Luxury Packages, and the Partners Portal. In their role as Tech Lead at Qantas, they contributed to replacing a legacy extranet system and developed UI components for internal use. After a year of unemployment and traveling, Allan joined Soul Machines as a Senior Frontend Developer, leading the development of the Widget, which allows for embedding digital people on websites. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Covidence.org.

Allan Pope began their education at Pakuranga College from 2003 to 2006. Allan then pursued further studies at Media Design School, where they completed a Diploma in Digital Media and a Diploma in Digital Creativity from 2009 to 2010. The field of study for both their diplomas was not specified.
