Dr. Elena Ignatova

Dr. Elena Ignatova currently serves as the Senior Director and Global Pharmacovigilance Team Leader at Covis Pharma since October 2021, and previously held the role of Director Drug Safety and Compliance at Roche from May 2020 to November 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Medical Director for Rare Disorders at Roche, focusing on neuroscience and drug development, and as Assistant Director for Global Clinical Project Management at Teva Pharmaceuticals. Additional roles include Global Safety Scientist at Roche, Assistant Director of Global Medical Science and Communication at Actelion Pharmaceuticals, and Medical Director of Global Clinical Development at Merck Serono. Dr. Ignatova's educational background includes a Master's degree in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology, a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration, a Medical Doctor degree in Internal Diseases from Moscow State Medical University, and a PhD in Neuroscience from the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.
