Patrik Malmberg

Patrik Malmberg is the Co-Founder and CEO of Covr Security AB. Patrik has over 20 years of experience in sales, business development, and management.

Patrik started their career in 1996 as the Sales Director and Co-founder of Intermezzon, a Swedish software company. In 2002, they left Intermezzon to start Fabulous Living, a luxury home furnishings company. Patrik ran Fabulous Living for four years before selling it in 2006.

In 2008, Patrik co-founded Covr Security AB, a cutting edge software IT security company that specializes in authentication and authorization. The company's flagship product, Covr, is the first completely safe solution that allows users to authenticate and authorize transactions via a secure separate communication channel.

Since its inception, Covr Security AB has been a leader in innovation, winning multiple awards for its products and services. In 2015, the company was named Sweden's Best Young Enterprise by Ernst & Young. In 2017, Covr was named one of Sweden's hottest startups by Wired magazine.

Under Patrik's leadership, Covr Security AB has grown rapidly, expanding its customer base and operations globally. The company now has offices in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and the United States.

Patrik Malmberg has a BA in Economics, Financing and Languages from the University of Gothenburg, School of Business, Economics and Law. Patrik has also completed separate courses in Social Anthropology at the University of Gothenburg, Faculty of Social Science. Additionally, they have a Spanish Macroeconomics degree from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Patrik has also completed separate courses in Cognitive Psychology and Psycholinguistics at the University of Gothenburg, Department of Psychology. Patrik Malmberg also has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing and Management Studies from Concordia University. Patrik's high school education includes a High School Diploma in General Studies from West Ottawa High School in Holland Michigan USA and a High School Diploma in Natural Science from Malmö Latinskola. Patrik Malmberg is also certified from MBTI and PADI Diver.
