Amin Zarshenas

Amin Zarshenas has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Teaching Assistant at Shiraz University in 2011. Amin later joined Sayyar Ertebat, Inc as an Electrical Engineering Assistant from 2011 to 2012. In 2013, they joined the Illinois Institute of Technology as a Graduate Research Assistant and conducted research on machine learning, deep learning methodologies, and attribute selection for high dimensional data analysis. Amin also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant during this time.

In 2019, Amin worked as a Data Scientist and Data Science Intern at Uptake, where they gained practical experience in data analysis. Amin also interned as a DevOps Intern at CCC Information Systems in the same year.

Amin later co-founded Vero, where they served as the Chief Product Officer from 2020 to 2022. In this role, they oversaw product development and led the data and analytics team. Currently, Amin is the Chief Product Officer and Co-founder at COVU.

Amin Zarshenas has an extensive education history in the field of electrical and computer engineering. Following this, from 2013 to 2015, Amin pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Lastly, from 2015 to 2019, they completed their highest level of education, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, at the same institution.
