Denise Pagliarulo

Denise Pagliarulo is an accomplished finance professional with over a decade of experience in leadership roles within the insurance and finance sectors. Most recently, Denise served as the Senior Vice President and Head of Finance for North America at AXIS Capital from August 2012 to July 2024, following a tenure as Vice President of Finance at the same company. Prior to AXIS Capital, Denise was the Head of Internal Audit at American Safety Insurance from January 2011 to August 2012. Denise's career began at Deloitte, where a role as Audit Senior Manager was held from October 2004 to January 2011. Denise holds both a Bachelor of Accounting Science and a Bachelor of Accounting Science (Honors) from the University of South Africa.
