Mamta Birla is an experienced legal professional currently serving as VP and Interim Head of Claims at Cowbell since April 2022, following progressive roles including Director of Claims and Senior Claims Counsel. Previously, Mamta Birla worked at Hiscox USA from October 2018 to April 2022 as Associate Claims Counsel, where responsibilities included reviewing claim documentation and maximizing settlement opportunities in media, technology, and cyber claims. Prior experience also includes serving as an Associate Attorney at Leonard Carder, LLP, managing subrogation and federal Longshore lien files, and as a Legal Assistant at The Rudisill Law Firm, specializing in client communication and dispute resolution. Mamta Birla holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Golden Gate University, School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UC Irvine.
