Mark V.

Mark V. has a diverse and extensive career in finance and analytics. Mark is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Cowboy, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the FP&A Director at Cowboy from November 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Cowboy, Mark served as the Global Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at Revolut from June 2020 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for senior leadership of financial management reporting and business planning for the global Revolut business. Mark was also instrumental in driving automation of management information and analytics, developing a structured business planning approach, and automating forecasting models.

From June 2016 to June 2020, Mark worked at NatWest Group as the Head of Executive Finance & Analytics, Commercial & Private Banking (CPB). In this position, they provided strategic support, advice, and challenge on finance activities and business issues for the Commercial & Private Banking CEO, COO, and Finance Director. Mark led a team of 100 business partners and finance/data analysts supporting the CPB Executive.

Prior to their time at NatWest Group, Mark held the role of Head of Finance Business Partnering, Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) at NatWest Markets Plc from November 2008 to June 2016. Mark was responsible for providing strategic support, advice, and challenge on finance activities and business issues to the CIB CEO, COO, and FD. Mark managed an extended team of finance business partners and business intelligence analysts in multiple locations.

Earlier in their career, Mark worked as an Audit Principal at the UK National Audit Office from August 2004 to November 2008, and as an Online Data Analyst at Serif (Europe) Limited from August 2002 to July 2004.

Mark V. completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Economics from the University of Nottingham from 1999 to 2002. Mark then pursued their professional qualifications and completed their FCA degree from ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) from 2004 to 2007.
