The Estate offers 5-star accommodation central to which is Cowdray House, an exclusive-use venue featuring 22 beautifully furnished bedrooms. The House has recently undergone a major refurbishment and now offers a superior destination for a range of events and uses, with access to wider Estate pursuits. 

The opportunity to stay at Cowdray is complemented further by a selection of lodges and holiday cottages all refurbished with the same eye for detail, luxury and comfort. Other venues suitable for weddings, private and corporate entertainment can also be found elsewhere on the Estate.

Cowdray is world-renowned as the home of British polo where the sport is played throughout the summer season. The more adventurous can take up polo tuition at the Academy with all levels welcomed, including complete novices. A championship 18-hole golf course, game and clay shooting, fishing and wildlife tours further add to the comprehensive mix of outdoor activities. 

At the heart of Cowdray lies a ruined Tudor mansion with a wealth of history and intrigue. A recent initiative has been to establish an art studio for individual and group lessons from our resident artist specialising in the renaissance genre.

The Farm Shop & Café’s impressive and healthy produce pays tribute to sustainable farming practices and seasonal, local sourcing.
