Jason Gao is an experienced financial professional with a background in accounting, finance, and editorial leadership. Currently serving as an AVP at Cowen Inc. since February 2018, Jason manages monthly financial results, client errors, and monthly closes, while automating processes with UiPath. As Editor in Chief and CEO of InvitedNYC, Jason oversees content creation and editorial quality. Previous experience includes roles as an Assurance Senior at EY, where Jason conducted audits and consulted on internal controls, and an intern at various firms including PwC, AXA Advisors, and others. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Finance, and Political Science from Syracuse University.
