Norma Casas-Velilla

Norma Casas-Velilla is an experienced language educator with a diverse background in Spanish instruction and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Language Educator at Coweta County School District since July 2024, Norma has held multiple roles including Spanish Teacher and Translator for self-employment, as well as positions in various educational institutions such as Atlanta Public Schools, Charles R Drew Charter School, and West Georgia Technical College. Norma has also contributed to the Georgia Department of Education as a Curriculum Consultant, focusing on the creation of Spanish instructional materials. Holding a Doctor of Education in Administrative Leadership from Walden University, as well as multiple degrees in Spanish and ESOL, including from Universidad de Salamanca and Universidad Metropolitana, Norma is dedicated to advancing language education.
