Abdelmalik Abdu

Abdelmalik Abdu has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Abdelmalik joined COWI in 2018 and currently holds the position of Principal Engineer. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Engineer and Lead Road Designer/ Discipline Lead at COWI. Before joining COWI, they worked at Civil Works Consulting Engineers (CWCE) as a Highway Engineer, where they were involved in both Road Design and Road Supervision works. Abdelmalik also gained experience as the General Manager, Resident Engineer, Team Leader, and Highway Engineer at FDHA Engineering Consulting PLC. Abdelmalik started their career at Defense Construction Enterprise (DCE) as an Office Engineer and later worked as a Highway Engineer at Ethio INFRA Engineering PLC. Abdelmalik previously worked at CWCE as a Highway Engineer and Drafts Person, and at SUR Construction PLC as an Office Engineer and Site Engineer. Overall, Abdelmalik Abdu has demonstrated their expertise and versatility in various engineering roles throughout their career.

Abdelmalik Abdu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Arbaminch University from 2004 to 2007. Later, from 2012 to 2016, they pursued a Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Construction Technology and Management) from Addis Ababa University. In 2019, they obtained the certification of Verified International Academic Qualifications from the World Education Services.
