Ask Sylvest Andersen

Sylvest Andersen has a diverse work experience in the field of construction and architecture. Ask Sylvest started their career at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group as a Construction Architect in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at VIA University College as an Adviser and Construction Designer, where they played a key role in the process, construction optimization, and quality control of a zero-energy prototype house. Subsequently, they worked at Langenaesstien as a Construction Architect in 2013. In the same year, they joined MINALTAN A/S as a Montør, and later moved to DyrbyKejser as a Bygningskonstruktør. In 2015, they worked at MOE A/S as a Bygningskonstruktør and then at NIRAS as a Bygningskonstruktør / BIM-Fagkoordinator from 2015 to 2021. Currently, they are employed at COWI as a BIM-manager and Digital Lead for Industry and data centers, starting from April 2021.

Ask Sylvest Andersen completed a Bachelor's degree in Construction Architecture from VIA University College from 2009 to 2012. In 2010 to 2011, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Construction Architecture from Universidad de Sevilla. Furthermore, from 2004 to 2007, they obtained a Craftsman degree in Concrete work from Aarhus Tech.
