Bo Slott Pedersen

Bo Slott Pedersen has a diverse work experience spanning from 1990 to the present. Bo started their career at SAS as an Operations Researcher/Analyst, where they contributed to the design of new concepts for crew resource planning and successfully developed crew scheduling and resource planning applications. After working at Novo Nordisk as a Project Manager for two years, Bo joined COWI in 1997. At COWI, they held various roles such as Project Manager, Chief Project Manager, Deputy Project Director, Project Director/Head of Section, and Project Director. Throughout their tenure at COWI, Bo was responsible for managing external client projects, serving as a senior IT consultant to clients, and leading successful client projects. Bo achieved significant accomplishments, including the introduction of agile methods, the implementation of ISO 90003 compliant software development processes, and the establishment of guiding principles for digitalization initiatives. Bo also played a major role in contributing to strong business performance through efficient project execution, quality deliverables, and securing long-lasting relations with key accounts. Bo generated a healthy portfolio of client projects, recovered a stranded business-critical project, and was a main contributor to a series of project wins. Bo's work experience showcases their expertise in IT technology, digitalization, GIS, and project management.

Bo Slott Pedersen obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Institute for Mathematical Modelling (IMM) from the DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 1990. Bo also completed a degree in Financial Management from the same university in 2010. In 2019, Bo Slott Pedersen obtained the certification for Leading SAFe, Scaled Agile Framework from the Danish Technological Institute.
