Carsten Rath Hansen

Carsten Rath Hansen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and application management. Currently serving as Vice President - Business Solutions in Group IT at COWI, Carsten oversees a portfolio of business applications supporting administrative processes and manages a PMO for strategic development projects. Previous roles include Area Director at KMD, leading a department of approximately 100 FTE, and Head of Project Management at KMD, managing a team of 30 project leaders serving government clients. As a Partner at Mørup&Wallentin, Carsten focused on IT project leadership and management. Earlier experiences include significant positions at Nykredit A/S, where contributions spanned from department director to senior project manager within a Centre of Excellence, and as a section leader at Nykredit Data. Carsten holds an MBA in Project Management from Henley Business School and a diploma in general management from Lyngby Uddannelsescenter.
