Chris Jack is a seasoned engineering geologist with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Technical Director and Associate at COWI since January 2020. Prior roles at COWI included Principal Engineering Geologist and Senior Engineering Geologist from 2016 to January 2019. Prior to this, Chris founded Christopher Jack Rock Engineering (CJRE) and worked as a Consultant Engineering Geologist from 2013 to 2016. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Engineering Geologist at GeoRisk Solutions, Engineering Geologist at Mott MacDonald, and various roles at Highland Geoservices, Donaldson Associates Ltd, Mason Evan, and Soil Mechanics, beginning as a Graduate Engineer in 2002. Chris holds an MSc in Engineering Geology from Newcastle University and a BSc (Hons) in Geology from The University of Edinburgh.
