Ganesh Kale has a strong background in geotechnical engineering and tunneling. Ganesh began their career at Atkins in 2007 as a Tunnel/Geotechnical Engineer, where they focused on strengthening works for sewer tunnels and conducted numerical analysis for various projects. In 2010, they moved to Mott MacDonald as a Senior Design Engineer, where they designed geotechnical engineering works for underground stations and tunneling projects, including temporary works, settlement assessments, and protective measures. Since 2014, Ganesh has been working at COWI as a Leading Specialist and Lead Project Manager, overseeing geotech and tunnel projects.

Ganesh Kale completed their B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 2005. Ganesh then pursued an M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering and Rock mechanics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, from 2005 to 2007.
